I have always enjoyed portraiture, particularly in regard to children. There is an unassuming innocence in the eyes of a child that speaks volumes. Children have a way of rising above their circumstances; of seeing the beauty in every day situations and making the best of life,
come what may. In this piece, I have attempted to capture the beauty and innocence of youth, while exploring various cultures and ethnicities.

The original medium is pen and ink, and the technique used is pointillism (a series of tiny, pixel-like dots).

Each print in this open edition of 1,000 is signed and numbered.

The Jazz and Blues Era was more than just music; it was a state of mind and a way of life. This striking collage features some of the most influential figures in music's history: Charlie "Bird" Parker, Artie "King of the Clarinet" Shaw, Jimmie "Mississippi Blue Yodeler" Rodgers,
Louie "Satchmo" Armstrong, and William "Count" Basie.

The original medium is graphite. Only 75 reproductions were made; each is signed and numbered.

The toddler years are precious. At this age, you never know what to expect from one moment to the next! When deciding which images to use for this particular piece, I thought, what better way to find great subject matter than to go directly to the source ... the proud parents!
This print features the children of friends and co-workers. A special thanks goes to all of those who generously contributed.
